The cars are seemingly entering hibernation mode and refuses to start charging after smart charging has initially paused charging after being plugged in. Even if the charger is supplying power to the car due to smart charging wanting to start or Grid Rewards-charging, the car will not accept the current from the charger.
The issue affects Tesla Model Y and Tesla Model 3 of all model years.
If you need a fully charged car the next day, we currently recommending turning off smart charging if you have a Zaptec to be sure your car is fully charged when needed.
