At the moment it is not possible to connect your BMW or Mini to Tibber.

If you have an integrated charger, we recommend adding a non-integrated car to your Tibber account so you can continue to use Smart Charging.

If you do not have an integrated charger, we recommend switching off Smart Charging and scheduling your charging session in the native car app or through your charger.

The execution of commands to devices seems to be working as expected, but the Tibber-app is unable to display historical data for Ebeco-devices.

The devices may randomly become inaccessible in the Tibber-app.

Investigating - Some Ford vehicles are not reporting the correct location when they are at home, which prevents us from receiving data from those vehicles. We are investigating this issue together with Ford.

If you are experiencing this problem and you have an integrated charger, you can temporarily add a non-integrated car to your Tibber account and control charging through that vehicle.

If you don’t have an integrated charger, we recommend scheduling charging manually in case we are not receiving the correct SoC data from your car.

Update - Some users signing a contract with the new Android app version may still experience issues when signing with BankID.
We have prepared a hotfix for Android version 25.38, which will be rolled out as soon as possible.

In the meantime, the current workaround for Android users will remain in place: after completing the sign-up process in the app, you will receive an email with a BankID link to finalize your identification. Alternatively, you can also sign up through our website.

Sep 25, 22:10 CEST
Monitoring - A fix has been implemented in our Android app, version 25.36, which has now started to roll out. Within 7 days, the Play Store will gradually make this update available to all users.
Sep 16, 10:56 CEST
Update - The issue has been identified and only affects sign-up in the Android app.

We have implemented a workaround for Android users: after completing the sign-up process in the app, you will receive an email with a Bank-ID link to finalize your identification. Alternatively, you can sign up through our website.

If you experience any issues despite the workaround, please contact support, we’ll be happy to assist you.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Monitoring - Both German and Dutch prices are now available in the app.

Currently, the 15-minute prices are still displayed as 60-minute prices. We are working on showing the 15-minute price intervals in the app, and we expect to release the updated graph in the coming hours.

Some users may experience that their car is not recognized as being at home, which prevents Smart Charging from working as expected. This may have caused car widgets to disappear from the app.

You do not need to re-pair your car, as this will not resolve the issue.

While we work on a solution, you can choose to temporarily disable Smart Charging and instead schedule a charging session using your car’s native app or the app provided by your charger.

Non-integrated cars seem to work. If you need to change any settings for your smart charging, such as departure times, you can add a Tibber Dummy-vehicle to use as a stand-in with your integrated charger. Select the Tibber Dummy as the car to charge in your charger-widget.
